Refund Policy
How payments, cancellations, and refunds work on CODXDigital projects.
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds work for projects booked with CODXDigital. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
2. Advance Payments Are Non-Refundable
This applies to every engagement, regardless of project size, timeline, or how early you decide to stop, and it's stated up front in every proposal before you pay.
3. Milestone Payments
Projects are billed in milestones, as set out in your proposal. Once we've started, or delivered, the work tied to a milestone, that payment is non-refundable in the same way as the initial advance. Only the portion of your project not yet started may be eligible for a refund, at our discretion, under the cancellation terms below.
4. If You Cancel
- If you cancel before we've started scoping or production on a given milestone, we'll refund any amount paid toward it beyond the non-refundable advance, minus any costs already incurred on your behalf (e.g. paid licenses, stock assets, or third-party tools).
- If you cancel after work has started, you remain responsible for payment for all work completed to date. The advance, and any milestone already in progress or delivered, is non-refundable.
5. If We Can't Deliver
If CODXDigital is unable to deliver the agreed scope, we will either complete the outstanding work or refund the portion of your payment tied to work not yet delivered, at your choice. This is the one case where a paid, undelivered milestone may be refunded.
6. Non-Refundable Costs
Third-party costs already spent on your behalf, such as domains, hosting, premium plugins or themes, stock media, or paid ad spend, are never refundable once purchased, regardless of project status.
7. Requesting a Refund Review
Email hello@codxdigital.com with your project name or invoice reference and the reason for your request. We'll respond within 3 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply to new engagements from that date; they don't retroactively change terms you've already agreed to in an active proposal.
